In business since 1993, Elaine Allen has photographed weddings in both a traditional and photojournalistic manner and has also specialized in environmental portraits of children, families, and individuals. She also photographs reunions, anniversaries, christenings, and other special events.

As a part-time photographer for the Buffalo News for ten years she has experience in photographing advertising-related subjects, such as home interiors and exteriors, company owners and employees, and subjects pertinent to special sections and travel guides.
